  • Position Summary
    • Responsible for processing, evaluating and providing ongoing device care for patients with cardiac implanted devices.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: Associate of science degree or certificate in an Allied Health related program or equivalent work experience.
    • License/Certifications: Current BLS
    • Experience: See "Education." Prior experience in rhythm analysis required.
    • Knowledge of healthcare field and medical office protocols/procedures.
    • Knowledge of crash cart emergency procedures and contents and proper response to emergency situations.
    • Knowledge of safety, infection control and quality assurance protocols.
    • Ability to act quickly and confidently at recognizing and acting upon critical patient situations.
    • Demonstrates age appropriate techniques with patients to achieve the highest quality patient care.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients, physicians, supervisors and other staff.
    • Ability to project a pleasant and professional image even under stressful situations.
    • Ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Proficient computer skills.
