Join the friendly and professional finance team at Memorial Hospital! This position is full time, Monday-Friday with exceptional benefits. Prior accounting experience is preferred; willing to train a new graduate!

Position Summary

  • The Accounting Specialist supports Memorial Hospital’s Finance team by overseeing the Accounts Payable coding and invoice accrual process, preparing journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, and maintaining the Fixed Asset system.
  • This is a full time, 40 hour per week position. Office hours are Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • License/Certifications: None required.
  • Experience: Prior related experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with high level of accuracy.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
