Summary

  • Position Summary
    • Reporting directly to the President of MaineHealth, this position is accountable for providing executive support and services essential to the mission of the organization and the day to day operation of a senior executive office. This role requires extensive administrative experience and interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with all levels of management within the organization and with member organizations. Incumbents in the role provide administrative support, work on high level special projects, and prepare responses to correspondence. By virtue of supporting a senior level executive, the Executive Assistant II operates with significant independent discretion in support of the organization.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • License/Certifications: N/A
    • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an administrative support role required with 2+ years executive level support. Demonstrated experience prioritizing competing deadlines.
    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
    • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Requires a high degree of confidentiality and discretionary judgment
