Maine Behavioral Healthcare provides a variety of residential treatment options for adults with mental illness.  As a Residential Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the residential facilities.  Additionally, your role will include supervising and assisting staff in helping clients/residents work toward goals leading to independent community living.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred or extensive experience in the field.
  2. License/Certifications: MHRT-II or higher certification is preferred, or eligibility to receive MHRT-C Certification. Valid driver’s license and appropriate level of automobile liability insurance.
  3. Experience: 1+ years of supervisory experience preferred. 2+ years of experience working with the chronic mentally ill is required.
  4. Qualifies by DMHMR/SAS as “other qualified mental health professional.”
  5. Able to pass driving safety standards as set by the insurance company.
