Summary

Position Summary:

Provides administrative secretarial support functions to the Medical Director and Manager of the PARC (Psychiatric and Addiction Recovery Center) Unit.  Utilizes and maintains departmental statistics, billing, scheduling and word processing. Schedules meetings and use of departmental conference room.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

    1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
    2. Experience: Minimum 1 years’ experience in a fast paced office setting (preferably a medical setting).
    3. Fundamental skills in using PC with Windows Operating System (managing files, programs, shortcuts, logins; ability to use a keyboard and mouse).
    4. Functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
    5. Skill in prioritizing workload for the department; dealing with the public in a professional manner; strength in organizing schedules and performing clerical functions, able to work as a team member within, the department and across hospital departments.
