Summary

  • Position Summary
    • This position reports directly to the SMHC Accounting Manager and is an integral member of the Finance Department, with a primary focus on General Operations. This position is responsible for the proper recording of cash, investments, prepaids, temporarily and permanently restricted funds, managing the organization wide credit cards used, and preparing the Consolidated Financial statements. The employee is part of a team that is responsible for accurate general ledger reporting for all SMHC entities.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • License/Certifications: N/A
    • Education: B.S. Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting, a B.S. Degree in Accounting, or a 2 year degree in Accounting with a minimum 5 years of experience in General Ledger procedures and producing financial statements in a healthcare setting preferred.
    • Experience: N/A
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word.
