Summary

  • Position Summary
    • Provides Leadership oversight for the operations in the Cat Scan department. Performs CT exams along with other Imaging department exams as needed, biopsies and QC related activities. Working independently as well as with other staff and physicians. Enforces the principles of ALARA at all times. Works with the Medical Imaging Supervisor and Regional Director of Medical Imaging.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Completes required continuing education requirements
    • Attends Department and Mandatory WCGH Meetings
    • Knowledge of Safety issues including OSHA-MSDS sheets, fire safety, and disaster response
    • Must have a current Maine State License in Radiologic Technology
    • Must have a current ARRT Registration in Cat Scan
    • Must have a current CPR certification
    • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Radiology required
    • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Cat Scan preferred
