Summary

  • Position Summary
    • The Behavior Analyst Consultant works as an integral member of the multidisciplinary inpatient treatment teams, with a focus to helping teams to addressing challenging behaviors exhibited by patients in the Hospital. The Behavior Analyst Consultant is actively involved in behavioral assessment, development of positive behavior support plans, staff training and consultation, data collection and analysis, caregiver training and support, and overall maintenance of behavioral assessment and treatment protocols in the Hospital.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: Master’s degree and 2+ years of post-certification behavior analytic experience preferred.
    • License/Certifications: Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst preferred.
    • Experience: Experience working with individuals of all ages with mental illness and intellectual and developmental disabilities
    • Must display strong interpersonal, planning, and analytical skills, professionalism, and maturity
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to adapt readily to change, work flexibly within a team, and work within a fast-paced environment
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word required; experience with Electronic Health Record is preferred
