The Oncology department is seeking a CNA to serve the needs of local patients who are undergoing treatment for cancer and blood disorders, as well as other chronic illnesses. The right candidate for this job should be someone who is dedicated, compassionate, collaborative, and wants to make a real difference. The Certified Nursing Assistant assists the Registered Nurse in the delivery of direct nursing care. This position performs other duties in accordance with established policies and procedures. The CNA must work effectively with the Medical Staff, Nursing Staff, Administration, Support Services, and Ancillary Services personnel to provide quality patient care.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- License/Certifications: Successful completion of an approved C.N.A. Program and certification by the State of Maine.
- Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
