Summary

Hours: 32 hour work week
  • Position Summary
    • Coordinate and maintain effective, safe, flow of research in the Department of Medicine and participate in the development and implementation of research projects with all levels of investigators. Perform analysis and implement research protocols for departmental project. Participate in individualized educational activities and in the development and implementation of scholarly activity in the department related to research. 
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: Background in health care, health services, clinical services or human research acquired through a master's degree in a relevant field. PhD preferred.
    • License/Certifications: N/A
    • Experience: Thorough knowledge of the theory, methods, practices, principles, processes, data collection methods and issues of professional medical research, acquired through two or more years of experience in clinical and health science research.
    • Ability to educate learners in research methods.
    • Extensive knowledge of statistical principles and methods, and proficiency with computers, databases and computer-based analysis packages for research (SAS, SPSS preferred).
    • Ability to function independently, managing projects through all phases of development and implementation.
