Summary

  • Position Summary
    • Responsible for maintaining an efficient flow of patients into and out of the Practice/HealthCenter.  Please note, this position is located in Liberty at Donald Walker Health Center. Schedule requires evening shift (till 6 PM) on Mondays.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Medical Assistant Certification, Certified Nursing Assistant. Graduate from high school/equivalency preferred. Preferred knowledge of medical terminology.
    • Knowledge of taking vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respirations, temperature, height and weight.
    • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload and maintain a flexible problem solving approach.
    • Strong telephone communications skills.
    • Must complete all duties with minimum supervision.
    • Knowledgeable in use of computers, printer, photocopiers, fax machine, answering machine and other office equipment.
    • Flexible and friendly attitude. Must be willing to provide office coverage for all WCGH Practices/Health Centers.
    • CPR certification required.
    • Must be familiar with and able to perform the duties of medical secretary as well.
