For a limited time this position is eligible for up to $1500 sign on bonus! Must be certified as Nursing Assistant in the State of Maine; certification must be active and in good standing. Current Maine Health member employees are ineligible; former SMHC or MaineHealth Organization Care Team Members need to have been separated from employment for a minimum of 6 months.

The Newton Center is a 74 bed facility, offering Rehabilitation and Senior Care located in Sanford. Seeking motivated individuals to join a friendly and hardworking team. New CNAs encouraged to apply!
  • Position Summary
    • Under the general direction of the Licensed Professional Nurse, the CNA provides nursing care to all residents within the scope of the approved State of Maine CNA curriculum. Provides a variety of tasks including cleaning chores, stocking and disposal of materials supply to ensure assigned areas are kept safe, clean and adequately supplied.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • CNA license with the State of Maine Board of Nursing required
    • Maintain 12 hours of continuing education annually
    • Valid drivers license preferred
