  • Position Summary
    • The Audiologist in this role will be part of a dynamic team providing hearing evaluations, counseling and treatments including hearing aids, and vestibular testing. Our audiology providers have a wonderful working relationship with the ENT Physicians, and they work hand in hand to provide the best possible outcome for patient care. In addition to a generous hiring bonus up to $15,000, we are also offering relocation assistance and temporary housing for qualified candidates.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: Graduate Degree in Audiology required.
    • License/Certifications: Ability to hold a valid State of Maine License in Audiology and Hearing Aid Fitting. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology preferred. Preferred certification by either the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) or the American Academy of Audiology (AAA).
    • Experience: Clinical experience that includes: Clients of all ages, Hearing Aid dispensing/evaluation, ABR/oto-acoustic emission screening and diagnostic testing, Central Auditory Processing Assessment.
    • Working knowledge of provision of speech and audiology services at acute, outpatient, long-term care, SNF, and school based levels of care.
    • Knowledge of evaluation and treatment for both pediatric and adult populations.
    • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Computer literate including the ability to use the internet, word processing, and electronic medical records.
