Summary:

This Program Coordinator performs administrative and professional duties in support of the MaineHealth Institute for Research’s Center for Interdisciplinary Population & Health Research and the Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences. This team member is responsible for coordinating daily activities in close collaboration with the Operations Manager and Center Director/s. Demonstrating professional diplomacy and discretion, they assure all program-related activities are carried out successfully and in a timely manner, for these responsibilities, and others as assigned:

· administrative grant operations

· meeting scheduling/agendas/minutes

· calendar coordination

· travel arrangements for leaders

· resource for employees regarding departmental policies, procedures, systems and equipment

· assist with new hire onboarding to the team

· administrative coordination, planning, and implementation for team events and MHIR special events

· liaison to all levels of Staff, and with outside constituents.

This position is a hybrid role based at our Westbrook, ME research offices.

    Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

    1. Education: Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    2. License/Certifications: Driver’s license may be required based on department business need.
    3. Experience: One year of experience in healthcare or related work experience required. Some roles may require experience in a specific program area.
    4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Strong computer skills.
    5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A
