MaineHealth Glickman Lauder Center of Excellence in Autism and Developmental Disorders (GLCOE) is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to support children with autism and developmental disorders full or part time in year-round early intervention, preschool and K-12 programs.
Under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Special Education Teacher, the Behavior Tech/Ed Tech will be responsible for teaching children using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) within a multi-disciplinary team. This role is crucial in helping children achieve the goals outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs), and Positive Behavior Support Plans.

Summary:
The Educational Technician III – Autism Preschool role provides instruction and behavioral support in year-round special purpose programs. Under the supervision of the Special Education Teacher and Director, the Education Tech III provides services that support the achievement of communication, play, socialization, self-care, cognitive, behavior and motor goals of students.
