Waldo HospitalSummary:
The Surgical Technologist – Float T4 role assists the surgeon and Operating Room (OR) RN during surgical procedures. This role will float between Pen Bay and Waldo with call shift rotation required.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology required.
- License/Certifications: Current certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
- Experience: Three years of scrubbing in a variety of surgical cases including total joint replacement, c-section, ophthalmology and endoscopy required. Experience working at smaller, multi-specialty hospital setting preferred.
