Summary

Within MaineHealth's ambulatory pharmacy program, the Rheumatology Clinical Pharmacist will be a part of our growing autoimmune program. In this role, the pharmacist will provide medication therapy for rheumatology and other autoimmune patients. The position will be based full-time within an active MaineHealth Rheumatology office that is currently based in Bath, Maine but will be moving to a new location in Brunswick, Maine in the near future. The clinical pharmacist position will be focused on providing high quality direct patient care. To support this position, we are also recruiting a dedicated Rheumatology pharmacy technician and Rheumatology PA specialist. 

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: The Clinical Pharmacist role reviews medication orders for safe and effective medication use; collaborates with physicians and other health care personnel to achieve optimal patient outcomes; and formulates recommendations based on current literature and evidence-based practice.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license with Board of Pharmacy required.
  3. Experience: Previous pharmacist experience preferred.
