All summer internship applications require both a cover letter and resume to be considered. You may submit 1 cover letter that indicates the 1-3 summer intern positions you are interested in and why you think you would be a good fit.
Summary:
The Intern role provides administrative and project support within assigned department, while gaining valuable, hands-on experience in a healthcare environment.
The MaineHealth Medical Group Credentialing Data Management team oversees the CredentialStream software, which is used by our Credentials Verification Organization, Medical Staff Offices, and Provider Enrollment Services teams. We provide technical support to the users and manage the software database itself.
We are continuing our journey to clean up the data in our system and develop Data Validation Reports. We have started building Data Governance Standards, but need to make sure the data is maintained accurately moving forward. The intern will have access to confidential provider information, so confidentiality is key. The intern can work remotely, in the office, or a combination of both, whichever they prefer.
Preference will be given to students pursuing business or managerial work. We would like someone that can build Crystal Reports using Microsoft Access and has advanced Excel skills.
