Summary:
The Intern role provides administrative and project support within assigned department, while gaining valuable, hands-on experience in a healthcare environment.
Provide professional support to the Leadership Gifts Team in the Philanthropy Department at MHMMC - Portland. Specifically, contribute to operational and administrative projects related to the work of the Donor Relations Team. The Philanthropy Intern will serve as a point of contact on the Leadership Gifts Team, as well as a hospital ambassador in the community.
Within the Philanthropy Department, the Leadership Gifts Team focuses on cultivating, engaging, and stewarding major donors (anyone who contributes $5k - six-figures to MHMMC).
Teams within the Leadership Gifts Team include:
Preference will be given to students in healthcare administration, non-profit management, event planning/hospitality management, marketing/communications, public relations, or business administration.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
1. Education: Student who is currently enrolled in a two-year Associate’s Degree program, Bachelor’s Degree program, or graduate-level program preferred.
