Summary:
The Intern role provides administrative and project support within assigned department, while gaining valuable, hands-on experience in a healthcare environment.
We are a 10 member remote team that manages/supports the Windows servers (~3,900 of them) and we also manage/support the Virtual Infrastructure (VMWare) on prem and we are also dabbling in cloud infrastructure. We deploy new systems, monitor them for performance, get involved in troubleshooting issues, and even retire systems. We also patch them for vulnerabilities so that they aren't susceptible to malware attempts.
Projects might include documentation of servers and applications they support across the environment with the potential to analyze and provide data documentation.
Preference will be given to undergraduate students in their sophomore, junior, or senior year pursuing information technology management, information systems, or related areas of study.
