Summary:
The Intern role provides administrative and project support within assigned department, while gaining valuable, hands-on experience in a healthcare environment.
MaineHealth Endocrinology and Diabetes is an ambulatory practice consisting of about 75 physicians, APPs, and care team members supporting patients with diabetic and endocrine diagnoses. Partners closely with other specialty and primary care offices supporting our patient population across the state of Maine.
Our practice has been working to transfer our information from a shared drive to our sharepoint site, in addition to leveraging our teams platform to provide a landing page of information for team members (both clinical and nonclinical) to reference. We would be looking for an intern to help us optimize the things we have in place, help to clear out old documents, rebrand current materials, and organize remaining documents.
Preference will be given to undergraduate juniors or seniors or graduate students studying IT or English given the software platforms and writing that could be expected in this role.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
1. Education: Student who is currently enrolled in a two-year Associate’s Degree program, Bachelor’s Degree program, or graduate-level program preferred.
