Summary:
The Intern role provides administrative and project support within assigned department, while gaining valuable, hands-on experience in a healthcare environment.
The Provider Recruitment team is part of the MaineHealth Medical Group, and we are responsible for recruiting and hiring all providers for all of MaineHealth's locations. Our department has approximately 15 team members who work on recruiting, interviewing and hiring all of the physicians and other providers who will be working at MaineHealth.
Preference will be given to undergraduate juniors and seniors or graduate students who are interested in working in talent acquisition, human resources, or other related administrative capacities. We welcome applicants from any kind of academic background.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
1. Education: Student who is currently enrolled in a two-year Associate’s Degree program, Bachelor’s Degree program, or graduate-level program preferred.
