Summary:

The Intern role provides administrative and project support within assigned department, while gaining valuable, hands-on experience in a healthcare environment.

The MaineHealth Integrated Reimbursement team is about a dozen care team members who assist with Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports, completing month end close NPSR calculations and responsible for facility enrollments. Our intern will assist with collecting and preparing cost report information, help with month end close preparation, and assist with enrollments and revalidations.

Preference will be given to undergraduate juniors and seniors or graduate students pursuing business administration, finance or relevant degrees.


Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Student who is currently enrolled in a two-year Associate’s Degree program, Bachelor’s Degree program, or graduate-level program preferred.
