Summary

  • ($3,000.00 Sign on Bonus paid in 3 installments, prorated for Part Time)

  • Position Summary
    • Pharmacy Technicians are essential members of the pharmacy team at MaineHealth, providing support for multiple facets of the pharmacy, including exceptional customer service. The Specialty Pharmacy Technician II is proficient in all core functions of the outpatient pharmacy including data entry, prescription adjudication and bedside delivery. The technician also identifies opportunities for improvement in work processes and actively contributes to the implementation of improvement efforts. Additionally, the technician will perform other related and assigned duties.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: High school diploma or GED certificate required. Associates Degree is preferred.
    • License/Certifications: Currently licensed as a pharmacy technician in the State of Maine or currently eligible consistent with the current State of Maine Board of Pharmacy requirements.
    • Experience: Greater than one (1) year of experience in pharmacy, healthcare or related experience.
