After successful completion of training, remote work may be possible. 

We are seeking a medical secretary to join our fast-paced neurosurgical office to support our surgeons and advanced practice practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Phone Management: Make, receive, and document phone calls with patients and other healthcare professionals. Direct calls to appropriate team members as needed.

• Appointment Scheduling: Independently manage surgeon schedules, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

• Insurance Authorization: Obtain and follow up on insurance pre-authorizations.

• Patient Communication: Coordinate appointments, provide updates, and communicate pre-surgical instructions.

• Team Collaboration: Work independently but collaborate with the medical team to ensure smooth operations.

 Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.

 2. License/Certifications: N/A 

 3. Experience: Experience in a medical office preferred.
