MaineHealth is seeking an Associate Chief Medical Officer (ACMO) & Senior Medical Director for Waldo Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital in the picturesque coastal town of Belfast, Maine.
The ACMO & Senior Medical Director will serve to carry out responsibilities which may include regulatory affairs, accreditation, acquisition and development of physician resources via contractual agreements, strategic planning, quality oversight and initiatives, program development and implementation, and engagement of senior leadership for the achievement of institutional and program goals.
This position has a primary reporting relationship to MaineHealth’s Coastal Region CMO and works closely with MaineHealth’s Pen Bay Hospital’s ACMO, Coastal Healthcare Alliance Medical Directors, MaineHealth Medical Group Senior Medical Directors, and MaineHealth Coastal Region CMOs.
This is an approximately 0.4 FTE administrative role. It is expected that this person’s remaining effort would be dedicated to clinical practice at Waldo Hospital.
