For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with up to 2 years of RN experience and $20,000 for Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of RN work experience!
The Registered Nurse for this position would hold a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and be responsible for telephone triage of patient’s cared for by the heart failure team at our ambulatory cardiology practice in Scarborough, ME. Responsibilities also include nurse office/patient education visits, implementation of Guideline Directed Medical Therapy (GDMT) and monitoring of cardioMEMs devices. Once trained this candidate would have the opportunity to have a hybrid remote schedule. The ideal candidate would have at least two years cardiology experience. This is Full Time; a 40 hour per week position, with no required holidays or weekends.
Summary:
The Registered Nurse II – Ambulatory role uses professional nursing processes to assess the needs of patients and families calling or presenting for care in the physician office and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
1. Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required. BSN preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Current State of Maine Nursing License or eligible for licensure to practice in Maine. Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
3. Experience: Two years of RN experience required. Experience in area of specialty may be required. Supervisory experience preferred.
