The Registered Nurse for this position would hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing and be responsible for telephone triage of patient’s cared for by the electrophysiology team at our ambulatory cardiology practice in Scarborough, ME. Responsibilities also include nurse office visits, support of Internal Loop Recorder Implants (IRL) and support of tilt table studies. Once trained this candidate would have the opportunity to have a hybrid remote schedule. This is Full Time; a 40 hour per week position, with no required holidays or weekends. The ideal candidate would have at least two years cardiology experience.
Summary:
The Registered Nurse II – Ambulatory role uses professional nursing processes to assess the needs of patients and families calling or presenting for care in the physician office and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
1. Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required. BSN preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Current State of Maine Nursing License or eligible for licensure to practice in Maine. Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
3. Experience: Two years of RN experience required. Experience in area of specialty may be required. Supervisory experience preferred.
