Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) is required
Position Summary
This is an outstanding opportunity for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join a team of highly skilled Clinician’s and provide outpatient therapy to clients across a spectrum of needs at our MaineHealth Behavioral Health Norway Outpatient Clinic.
We are seeking an Outpatient Therapy Clinician who is looking for an opportunity to grow clinically and willing to embrace evidence-based practices. The agency offers opportunities for trainings in Evidence Based Practices. Regular group and individual supervision’s offered, and a fabulous interdisciplinary team to coordinate care with. This is a dynamic multidisciplinary clinic working with clients of all ages.
Clinical duties may include:
MaineHealth Behavioral Health provides an array of services at our outpatient practices for adults, adolescents and children challenged with mental health, developmental disorders, co-occurring and/or substance use issues.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
1. Education: Master's Degree in Social Work/Clinical Counseling from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work/Counselor Education required.
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or LMSW-CC (Licensed Master Social Worker, Conditional Clinical) or LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) required. State license to practice as a LADC and CADC as needed. Valid Driver’s license if required for role.
3. Experience: Two years of relevant experience in a health or mental health setting preferred.
