The award-winning Southern Maine Medical Center (SMMC) healthcare system incudes a multi-specialty physician group, a 150-bed medical center, and a visiting nurse subsidiary. Located in York County, Maine, our system provides emergency and urgent care, surgical services, inpatient services (including special care), York County’s only inpatient mental health unit, a birthing suite, pediatric care, rehabilitation programs, preventative/wellness services, community education and support programs.
